2026-02-25 18:24:30 +0000 UTCRe: pet baptism. I would argue that the difference lies in who (or what) is being baptized/blessed. Emily is human and thus has a soul = baptism. The dog is not human and doesn’t have a soul= blessing. Also, I have been a Christian for 25 years and have been going to church for longer and I have NEVER heard of animal baptism. I’m for it though. I’d love to get my cats blessed. Also, do we think the pet blessing is a denominational thing? I’m Presbyterian.

To be fair I was a rogue and had advantage every turn for hiding. But I still felt really bad
