I got my horse very inexpensively because he’s “difficult” and I have also struggled with him at times. Years later, I’m working in a different industry and finally started showing my horse again just for fun, and overall our relationship is better than ever and he’s been so brave and just amazing. I was listening to this EP on the way to the barn on Christmas morning and the song started playing right when I got to my horse’s stall and I just burst into (happy) tears. Thank you, Emily.

2024-12-24 06:27:12 +0000 UTCEditing for 18 hours straight is absolutely insane behavior, thank you for such a great finale (i was gagged when you mentioned 7.5 hours raw audio… the finished product would have never given that away, it felt very tight and well polished but real!) Huge respect for you all, it was such a fantastic end & I truly can’t imagine being more than a barely functioning person with a newborn and a small kiddo let alone showing up to rock two huge episodes — I’m really impressed Caldwell. The patch from his scarf 😭 I love the idea of Dex plus wisdom being knitting and how he meditates. The music was really special, the pivot to it being a lullaby for the dragons was chefs kiss. I’m so excited Emily has been so passionate about these albums and it felt locked in, and Callie’s arc end was genuinely perfect and true to Callie. The traveling show, she would create folk lore plays to teasingly ship her friends. Calders finale being a full circle of casting flame, and the way Jake described ice and cold being the thing that inspired warmth to summon a spark—wow. I know Jake is a huge fan of poetry and I feel like Calder has really let that side shine. Home really is where the hearth is. Happy hoglidays (: enjoy a well deserved medium to long rest.
