I am just finally listening to this episode, but y'all should really check out laserllama!! He is one of the best homebrew people I have seen out there and he has done exactly what you are asking for. He revamped all martial classes to have exploits (maneuvers) so that they have more to do in combat. All of his stuff is playtested and rebalanced to make them fair and fun! He also made some of his own classes like the Savant, an intelligence-based martial class. What's up Endless Caverns is cool if you like caves and rocks - very sprawling and otherworldly! Although if you want more spook and less sprawl there is a stalagtite organ at Luray Caverns just down the road that is DRAMATIC.

For the extra battle master maneuvers my friend started a campaign where I play a defensive based fighter with a whole expansion of the maneuvers and even higher tier ones with more effects and damage. They are called Lazer Llama’s class expansions highly recommend for anyone wanting to spruce up a fighter
