For some people, listening to live shows as a podcast is acceptable, and if that’s something you like than excellent. I do think that myself and some other fans don’t exactly love the lower audio quality, often rushed endings due to stage time ending, and sense of missing out (I just *know* the buzz in the room makes the show feel so much better than what I’m hearing). When we’ve had super high quality mixed bag content like Emily’s winter solstice one shot, it’s just hard month to month wondering if we’re gonna get something awesome like that, or just another repackaged live show.

As someone who lives in an area NADDPOD never makes it to (Omaha NE) it is nice to hear a goofy live that has not much to do with main arc stuff etc.

As an off week it’s cool, but paying for monthly content and getting a string of live shows can be kind of disappointing. Feels low effort for the people supporting the show the most.
