2023-03-06 19:16:05 +0000 UTCI feel like with the misty step it's the wizard reaching out with their magic to bring whatever they want to bring with the misty step so I would give them the option to bring what they want. If it's something big like a person then probably an arcana check but clearly there is something with discernment deciding what comes and what doesn't or everything would teleport. The only thing I the equation with a brain is the person casting it.

You play another campaign with these characters, and during, a being of great power appears and tells your character who should have died that it is time for them to pay for the favour. Whatever your character would have wagered away to whoever this is to come back to life in that moment, that's all up to you. And now that you've established a fun new adventure to play that will make your lie canonical, your confession won't be so bad. You won't have to feel bad anymore and it'll be a cool story, I think.

Perception was to notice this fact, person used an a spell and learned that didn’t work, time for them to continue to try and learn. I get ignoring certain rules at times or rule of cool, but I feel this gets into slippery territory

We did play that campaign for 10 sessions and I did enjoy the pokemon battles having decided if it was happening I was going to go all in As for my punishment I'd gladly work for NADDPOD, I'm more versed in Pathfinder 1e rules though
