Though I am quite sad, I just gotta say that I honestly loved the direction this went! This feels like it's mirroring the Hardwon vampire arc but on a much grander scale. Let's be real, it's so like Jake to have his character make the sacrifice play that I kinda saw this coming. I really hope this leads into the crew trying to rescue Calder because I feel like the payoff is going to be amazing! We can't have a happy ending all the time, folks, the lower the lows then the higher the highs and all that. Don't listen to the people calling this "railroady", I didn't think it felt like that at all. Keep up the good work you guys! Fuck you, I love you, eat a rat.

2023-02-20 20:55:48 +0000 UTCI get story comes first, but geez the railroading made this episode a lot harder to enjoy imo. Nat20’s not discovering a trap, surprise rounds, sleep spells and confusion spells. Plus they couldn’t sleep even when they asked. Just way too much.
