Full uncut reactions! 👀

We just wanted to drop in with a little update as we’re looking to refresh the format of some of our Patreon content.

Up until now, we’ve been uploading watchalong-style reactions with a blurred screen and a timecode for you to sync with your own copy of the film. After much thought we’ve decided to start uploading full uncut reactions with the movie embedded.

Fair use is always a huge grey area, but since we provide constant commentary throughout, we believe this approach fits within fair use. Many other creators are doing it this way as well, and so we feel it’s worth giving it a try!

We also know it can be a big ask to both support us here and rent the movies separately, so we hope this change makes things a little easier and more enjoyable for you.

The switch will start this weekend with our Sunday watchalong: Train to Busan, which will be available as a full uncut reaction. Early access to the YouTube edit will still roll out the following week as usual, so you’ll have both options depending on what style you prefer!

PS. bit of a busy one this week, so the YouTube early access video for Perks of Being a Wallflower will be a couple of days late, aiming for Monday at the latest, but if we can get past copyright on YouTube quickly we'll post it sooner! 😊
