The Ukraine War - A Self Criticism
Added 2022-10-03 08:44:08 +0000 UTCThis week I'll putting out a special episode, to be released on Friday of this week, covering how my own analysis of the Ukraine war has changed over time.
Back in February of this year, at the beginning of the war, I put forward the point of view that this was an inter-imperialist war. I have, in recent months, moved away from that position to viewing it as a war of aggression against Russia by the USA using Ukraine as a proxy.
I'll be examining why I came to find fault with my initial analysis and have I came to formulate this new perspective. Along the way I'll also be looking at the various perspectives put forward by prominent Marxist groups which also help illustrate how much analysis of this war has been shaped by the flawed application of core Marxist concepts.

How did you recon on Russia being imperialist ? One way of telling how imperialist a country is by counting the number of overseas military bases.
