Plastic Surgery and the Bottomless Pit of Alienation

In the weekend edition we look at the history of plastic surgery, why it developed, which layers in society have embraced it the most and why it has become ever more popular.  The answer as to why it has become ever more popular are disturbing and afford us an insight into the atomised, alienated and constantly marketised nature of certain areas of life in the western world today.

Its really cool when you guys do topics that are about current cultural trends and have a marxist analysis on it. I hope we get more like these! Also, so Leila is 21! I only asked last time because she seems so wise for that age....but then again Marxism will probably do that to you.
