So interesting. I’ve listened to Denis right from the beginning of all this, he has a lot of fairly obviously reasonable stuff to say. I really hate this “mental health” angle everyone goes on about. We’ve known for a long time that isolation and lack of social contact between humans is hugely detrimental. Babies physically thrive with skin to skin contact. Its not bloody “mental health” that suffers, it’s the whole human that suffers! Humans are social creatures, I’m not sure why anyone would need an expert to tell them that isolation is bad for people. The idea that shutting old people away and approaching them only in hazmat suits is “protecting the vulnerable”… my god, what a dystopia!
