2022-01-24 17:38:00 +0000 UTCI think it’s important also to remember that Russia is a bit of a paper tiger itself. I mean - Canada’s GDP is larger than that of Russia. Russia’s not even one of the largest four economies in Europe! And all the demographic and economic trends are quite bleak for the Russian state. So I don’t know how long Russia would be able to (or want to) maintain a purely oppositional path to the western alliance, even with direct support from China.
