The Rittenhouse Trial & A Question on Socially Necessary Labor

We look at the bourgeois media circus surrounding the Rittenhouse trial and ask, why the concept of a fair trial is so alien to many these days? Why are liberals so keen to jettison universalist standards? And who bares responsibility for the riots last year? On side 2 we take a question of socially necessary labor from a listener and look at how the employers manipulate conscientious workers.

Great discussion. This touches on quite a lot of issues raised by Sivinandan in RAT the degradation of the black struggle. Essentially the deliberate destruction and managed decline of organic anti -racist struggle led by independent working class organisations. Their functions are assimilated into a lucrative nexus of race relations mediated within the state and benefit nobody except a layer of the middle class of all colours. This is where arises various shades of opportunism masquerading as activism, the individualisation of offence rather than collective class oppression and all manner of unhinged technocratic legal, social and political positions adopted and imposed on society.

Looking forward to the 3 hour + epic on your utopian musings :-D I enjoyed school for the most part, but am much more aware of the shortcomings of my education nowadays. It seems that the school system in England has only gotten worse since I left, which still makes it look relatively good in comparison.
