Next Video: THE DONKEY!

Hey!

Due to some irl stuff that's been happening lately (nothing bad, but a bit time consuming) I had to slow down a bit when it comes to shooting, writing and editing in the past few weeks.

Thankfully this irl stuff has been sorted out, and I should be able to post my next video by next week (i am shooting for October 25)!

I can confirm the next video is about the Panasonic Let's Note CF-RZ5 that I recently imported as junk from Japan for just 23 dollars, or as I call it, "the donkey"!

I have been working on it AND recording all sorts of behind the scenes (especially wip for 3d animations since some of you were interested in that specifically) and I will be posting them here with some commentary after the video is done!

The video is mostly focusing on both the peculiar hardware of this laptop (Intel M5, 10.1" 1920X1200 convertible IPS touchscreen) and the software part, installing Linux on it to turn it into the perfect video workhorse for my use case: I am using it as a video monitor, audio recording station AND I am also using it to display my scripts while recording a video in case I need to check some stuff from it while I am shooting.

Aside from that, I will also be just testing the performance of this little guy in general to see how it holds up in this day and age (comparing Windows vs Linux when I can too): this is not a gaming powerhouse (m5 + integrated graphics make it quite limited in that sense) but it is a pretty interesting machine for web browsing (and stuff like word processing or using google sheets) and media consumption which is great on that small but still better than Full HD screen!

I have also tested Half-Life on it, of course, for good measure.
