How bad do you want me is such an interesting and deeply layered song to me. Gaga has spoken a lot about these personas and about identity. Where does Stefani end and where does Gaga start and all the grey in between. The good girl and bad girl in the song reflects that. It is all her. She has the insecurity in the relationship which sides her partner prefers or if he prefers any or can he accept all of them. How bad does he want her but also how BAD does he want her on that good bad spectrum. I love that double entendre. And that topic makes it such a deep and meaningful Gaga song.

And Watt and Cirkut are both huge in the pop production/writing world but I think it’s their first times working with Gaga in a major way. Regardless I LOVE how much you guys dug most of this and really pinpointed a lot of the same genre/production references I was also picking up on on first listen (I’ll forgive you guys for not liking How Bad Do U Want Me and yes, we all hear the Taylor sounds)
