Obviously Bush had a huge impact on the music industry, but this is the first time I've heard another artist truly emulate her voice (intentionally or not). Especially with her high notes and the rough pushes she does to her delivery in the bridge. It was one of the first things that struck me about Chappell as an artist :)

2024-06-26 16:02:41 +0000 UTCChappell performed at the Kentuckiana Pride Festival last week and locals including me were shocked to learn the pride festival could sell out!?!? It sold out weeks in advance. So many people traveled across the country to see her perform! And it was only $10 entry. I was so bummed I didnโt even realize there were presale tickets, I always paid at the gate! But a ton of us stood outside the festival and up on the walking bridge to watch, she is an incredible performer. Obscurity is definitely gone for her!
