Chasing Shadows West

By far the most intense part of the journey. I’ll share the full story of how I managed to get my camera back tomorrow.

Enjoy!

Loved it so far would love a surfing video in the balkans, these countries just have a irreplaceable feeling. Good Job dude very well chose music as always!

Quantum

Hiya, love the videos, I can’t see them right now so I’m assuming your account has been suspended again. Good luck fixing it!

Alex Beiley

i can see them! thank you for everything you do. they are in wrong and you are a true artist

Robert Meier

It should be fixed. Can you access the video now?

Thomas Verschueren

They suspended my account because I used too much bandwith, I pay a lot for the bandwith, they're in the wrong for suspending my account. The issue should be resolved quickly.

Thomas Verschueren

hey i’m having trouble accessing the videos? when i click the vimeo links it’s says the video does not exist??

Robert Meier

It's pretty common to ride with a dog in North-America. It's a nuisance but also a good companion for on the road. And Ranger was indeed having the time of his live!

Thomas Verschueren

Yes we had a scanner so we could overhear communications between our train and RTC (Rail traffic control) as well as communication between other trains and engineer and conductor. A very handy tool. For my camera, I use the canon R6.

Thomas Verschueren

Hahaha true

Thomas Verschueren

No Rocky Mountain footage for us unfortunately, but man, we're so glad that you got back the camera, after you got through all those dramas. You're so tough, though..

Danika Amaryllis

I subbed because of the camera ❤️ your efforts deserve my financial support

Justin

losing shit thats usually Bitos Job

DJAliFT

Again, wonderful. Loved the ending where it got all trippy and the music choices were spectacular. These are just the best thing on the internet.

Matthew Jones

Superhuman effort retrieving the camera, seriously impressive.

EricB

Maybe one, if not the best episode you've ever made! The melancholy, cinematic camerawork. Just wow! I felt your stress running after the camera. Riding with a dog must've been crazy. Even the little possibility there where cops on their way. Let's wait patiently for Canada-trip no. 5! Beau Verwijlen

Ahhh I just recommended you Bowery Electric because one of the songs reminded me of them and I figured out you'd like it. Turns out it was Bowery Electric and I did not know the song. Awesome video!

Feel Guerre

Hi Poison, this is brilliant and heartstopping!! DM sent via the usual way. Cheers, John

John Fisher

Probably one of the craziest videos out there in terms of story. Riding a train thru the rockys >forgetting camera -> getting the camera and passing out -> meeting up with a dog train surfer

Doomguy

Hey can you explain what exactly happened from 32:20 in your video , have you been connected by radio with foreman or any other staff of the train? The video have pretty amazing vibe , good choice of music , and good narration What type of camera are you recording this , as I said the quality is very nice?

Mateusz Mati

What an unbelievable & intriguing presentation. Truly, it was cinematic storytelling at it's finest. Well done Poison. I rarely find myself so emotionally distaught & involved in following most posted adventures. However, this one did just that & more. I felt so strongly upset & sorry for the possible misfortune of losing your camera. How relieved I was at the eventual outcome. Wonderfully entertaining & watchable. Thank you for sharing with us viewers/supporters.

Peter Migliorini

The struggle you've gone through to get the camera back is insane and shows just how dedicated you are to make those videos. You definitely deserve every single cent of support for this!

Hadeez

This video was great! Hope I can travel soon

Benny Jackson

That is absolutely mental man. I applaud your dedication and stubbornness, that combined with your creativeness with these shots and your storytelling make you so fun to follow. I love it.

Thomas v.S.

Risking his life for a camera and that is what you call dedication to his profession.

Ian M

Love it. Sooo stoked for more. Sucks about your camera… but ended well

B Ack

Was thinking the same… dog seems smart though, and I bet he’s having the time of his life

B Ack

awesome scenery. who the hell takes their dog train-hopping?

john

Wow, what a "terrible" adventure! Glad you got your camera back...you're one lucky dude!

John Pine

That was so much packed into 33 minutes. The natural beauty of the scenery, the lows and highs of the camera incident, the adventure when hopping off at the end… what a wild and special ride. Really happy for you that you found your camera. As always, great music and views. Appreciate the picture of the stars! Have fun and be safe.
