And there's actual payoff from these episodes: usopp's goggles are a signature item of his throughout the show and sanji does end up getting the tuna and cooking it in the manga

After you finish episode 53, I would recommend doing one reaction where you watch from 2:40-7:30 in episode 55 and from 13:00 to the end in episode 61
