Real quick, I just want to take a moment to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has backed the patreon and supported Ironbound and the Debt Collection. It's truly been an insane year for my writing and I'm so excited to get more of those adventures into your hands.
As promised for the break, this is 4 chapters of a new idea, its working title is currently Blackheart.
A QUICK DISCLAIMER: Any future projects won't be impacting Ironbound. We're still going to jump into book three ASAP and keep the momentum there going. I also haven't forgotten about the Debt Collection either.
Developing series takes a while, I like to feel them out, so this is merely an experiment to see if it's something I'd like to pursue in the future.
A SECOND DISCLAIMER: This is really, really, early in the process. Unedited, unproofed, all vibes. So don't worry about typos and issues. I'd love to know if the tone and story are interesting but other than that, it's all subject to change and polish.
2026 is going to be an adventure! My goal is to finish Ironbound 3 & 4 as well as Debt Collection 6 and if I have time...we'll that's what we're thinking about.

The flashback-centric structure being told in parallel with future events reminds me almost of an Assassin’s Creed game, and the new medieval-fantasy tone is an interesting setting to see you write in. I also like Revan’s humor, Pryor’s succinct sarcasm, and the character of the King being a normal and likeable dude instead of an ignorant tyrant who is also a spoiled brat. I hope this wasn't too literary critique-ey, but I wanted to be detailed in my praise bc this series has mad potential.

The power system is interesting as well, I haven't seen or read much like this so im curious on how that works and the extent of how far it can get if everything is as impressive as it sounds with him breaking out as easily as he did. Very excited to see where this story goes as your next series!
