Fourth update: Daily Equestria Life With Monster Girl

This update is actually two chapters. There's about 10,800 words between them, but... I felt like the opening scene required a chapter all to itself. Something where the reader could pause before going on.

And I know I have to explain why I went back to this well for the final posting of December, and the year as a whole. It's because of the following:

I could think of no better way to summarize the crawl across broken glass of 2021 than the way this section ends.

If you've been here for a while, then... you know what this last year was like for me. This month has been full of anniversaries, and there's more pain to come. The 28th of December? That was 'one year since the diagnosis'. I could give you hour and minute. Soon, it'll be one year since the last piece of false hope. One year since intubation. On January 10th, one year since death.

So that was why I ended the year this way. With the walk into Tartarus, because... torment and I have been companions for a while now.

The descent into the underworld. Go all the way down, and perhaps there'll be an exit at the bottom.

I'm opening the floor to blog dictation subjects tomorrow. (Possibly the last chance to get one in at the $5 level, because I might have to adjust for inflation.) See you in 2022.
