Filmed at an active airshow: Winds and Jet noise included.

Captain Picard (Dee)

I visited the hangar several times (in Everett, Washington) where these reproduction planes were built. I work on new planes every day and it was fun to see these in comparison to what the planes look like that I work on. Great to see one of them in detail again. It's amazing how simple the construction of these are - but yet be so cutting edge (for the 1940's) that they were able to out perform their piston engine contemporaries in so many ways.
