Early Access: In Defense of the Fiat G.91

A new early access video for all of you! The Fiat G.91 is a hidden gem of the early Cold War period but it's story, inspired through a quite rational NATO standardization program, is one of delays, compromises and ultimately falling far short of the initial exceptions. Shame really, it was a good plane. Find out more in this video!

Nice to know that I wasn't imagining that it looked it was a derivation from the Sabre! That was an era of such fast evolution that success would be a challenge regardless of the design. It's amazing to look back and see how many USA aircraft were developed and the relatively short service life of many of them. Too bad that no one knew the McDonnell Phantom II was just around the bend... that would have been a good NATO standard.

My parents owned a 1972 Fiat 124. 4 Door, green sedan. Dad loaded rocks in the trunk. It made a good Kauai Island car!

Thanks very much, I have not studied NATO aircraft so this is always educational
