Early Access: A-10 vs T-62 with real data!

Can the A-10 GAU-8 penetrate tanks? Well, thankfully there is plenty of testing data available so let's have a closer look! This video also includes comments by a real A-10 pilot for some added content and information. Hope you enjoy!
This video is sponsored by my new partners Thrustmaster. As a new 'brand ambassador' (apparently this is now a snazzy new title I am to use), I am going to regularly release new videos including discount codes for their flight simulation products.
Between December 8-11, you can get 15% OFF with the code MAH15 on the HOTAS Warthog (or the individual stick and throttle), the Thrustmaster Pendular Rudder pedals, and the F-16C Viper stick. If you are in the market for a flight simming upgrade for XMAS, check it out!

Note: Europe link seems not to work, I asked them to investigate. Will edit when I get a response.
I really am surprised at the shallow attack angles. 4%? I would think a more effective approach would be to come into the target area low, pop up, very briefly, for targeting each of the self-propelled anti-aircraft ground-based AFVs. Then continue to circle, pop up over the main battle tanks, then dive, very briefly, at steeper angles so as to target the much thinner top armor of the tanks.
Chris, have you tried something like that in a good simulator?

Hey, Chris,
I'm pausing the video to give some positive feedback (no pun intended) on the Thrustmaster brand flight game controls. I've used a set of them that look just like what you have. They're at the Hack RVA workshop club/maker space, in RVA, where they are used in our socializing room, with any compatible computer that has a flying game installed. I've seen theThrustmaster controls used with a sci-fi game called Elite Dangerous.
I'm on Social Security Disability Income, and with the silly SSDI rules can only work part-time as a janitor. And even if I could afford to buy my own controls, I have no place to set them down. Somehow, on my low income, I've still filled up my home, way too much, with low-budget stuff. But I can speak well of the Thrustmaster controls. I just can't figure out all the buttons. :)

Good idea Dee, but obviously the US part will have to wait until the [scheduled?] Aust/NZ tour is finished. 🦘
PS I'd assumed someone tried using tilt-rotors militarily, but I've never heard of an accepted one. Cheers Capt, I'll look that Bell up for myself.

Can you also go on a US tour next summer? Start a GoFundMe to raise funds? 🇺🇸
