Sneakpeak: Myth of the Overkill

Hey,

The next video, coming out next week Thursday, will be all about deterrence, nukes and Strategic Air Command - and I've got a choice to make that you could help me with.

Above you'll find two pictures of the same animation in the video, with a different icon for the 'nuke delivery'. Let me know which one is your favorite in the comments - hopefully the references are understandable, if not...that's already a good sign that the other icon might be better :)

P.S. I will upload a few pictures from the Sea Vixen's manual for the cockpit, and a accompanying wallpaper soon, so stay tuned for that!

Chris

Definitely go with Slim Pickens as Maj. "King" Kong !

Absolutely Slim Pickens from Dr. Strangelove

Ben's right, Chris. Lose the UberEats guy please. Also, I truly don't understand why the transit icon has a huge gold cog(?) & a small clock. I'd lose the cog & make the clock bigger. Lastly, command & control guy looks like he's playing Fallout. I think some generic bunker with a mast & a few radio waves ((( I ))). Anyway, those are my thoughts mate. Cheers from sunny Canberra. Dr strangelove.

Don't have a preference for deterrence selection. All your material is outstanding. Dr Strangelove is quite an interesting movie. Did not understand it the plot when I was a kid. Just enjoyed the aircraft scenes. "There will be no fighting in the war room", everlasting quote. I for one liked the primitive wall map and the electronics that went along with it. In other news, enjoyed Sea Vixen video. One has to love how UK forces name their Naval Aircraft. Ooooh, Lala, you'll be entering the Navy and attend "Sea Vixen" flight school. Just look at her smooth lines, protruding petrol tanks, thin fuselage.

I like them both, Slim Pickens is a great little Easter egg. I just worry if someone doesn’t get the reference they won’t get it. Though delivery should be clear enough with the word

Dr. Strange love all the way!

Definitely Slim Pickens's last ride from Dr. Strangelove. A great scene from the greatest movie of the Cold War.

Dan L.

Slim Pickens all the way

H Norman Angell

I concur with the previous five folks--Slim Pickens FTW!

Strangelove for me too :)

Jens Backman

Yee-haw! Slim Pickens, all the way. :D

The Dr. Strangelove delivery is very cool.

If you don't go with Major King Kong, you better at least go with Slim Pickens.

Scarecrow Repair

My personal favourite is the "Dr Strangelove" delivery :-)
