Here is an overview of the upcoming videos in February and early March 2021.
Action of Bougainville - 11 Feb.: In this video, Justin Pyke and I will discuss the battle and significance of the Action off Bougainville on 20. Feb 1941 in which Lexington was under attack by G4Ms by 4th Kokutai and escaped unharmed but with the first American ace of the war, Butch O'Hare.
Why did the Me 262 have Bombs - 18 Feb: What delayed the Me 262 - was it really Hitler's insistence to add bombs, or were other problems more important in pushing back the aircrafts schedule? I will discuss this, and more, in this video coming the 18th February. (See the picture above for a small sneakpeak).
Inside the Cockpit - Mirage IIIS - 25. Feb: Already in early access here - Inside The Cockpit returns! In this video I will have an in-depth look at the French Mirage III in Swiss service.
P-47D Thunderbolt - Walkaround - No date: Already in early access here - Taking a closer look at one of my favorite planes from WW2, this video will feature a P-47D found at the RAF Museum.
50cal vs. 20mm cannons - What is best? - 11. March: In early access soon. The discussion what weapon was better for fighter aircraft, .50cal or 20mm cannons is one that keeps being debated, vigorously at times. In this video, I talk about this topic and argue that this comparison makes little sense.
