Hey all,
I hope you all had a great weekend, it's time for another production update!
This time, it is a good news, bad news situation. The good news is, multiple videos are very close to being done. The 'bad' news is that there will be a bit of a delay on the content for Early Access, mainly because I am limited by a couple of bottlenecks. Since I am not 'at home', I edit on my laptop which is slower but most issues are the bureaucratic steps like museum sign offs and editing corrections. I underestimated this a bit this time around. As such, I expect that I will have a bunch of videos out in one big early access post, as I come to think that a bundle is better than individual releases.
Current videos:
A couple of days ago, I release a video on the Hawker Hurricane. If you didn't see it yet, watch it here.
Also, the video on German engine performance coming out this week remains in early access since December. You can find the link here.
For the videos in production:
The P-47 Thunderbolt Walkaround is finished and after getting the sign off from the museum, I can share it here. The same goes for the Inside The Cockpit episode which needs one more round of corrections (the usual editing mistakes), and a museum sign off.
The long format video on aircraft armament is nearly complete. It is about an hour long, with more simplistic editing, and serves as an introduction into the topic of WW2 aircraft armament. This is an experiment to see how such content does on the channel since usually I avoid this sort of video. I tend to think that a concise, to the point analysis of 10-20min to be better in understanding a subject than a longer 1 hour long 'storytelling' approach but I am also more than happy to try out something new to see what happens.
This then constitutes three videos essentially at the 95% mark. My chat with Justin Pyke on the P-39 is next in line for the edit. This was a really fun to record, so hopefully if the edit goes well, I can bundle these four videos together in one giant early access release similar to the one in December.
Let me know your thoughts and thank you once more for your support!
