Free Flight Manuals: Mirage III & Hawker Hurricane

Hey all,

As the first real update from 2021, I wanted to share some flight manuals with you in anticipation to the new Inside the Cockpit on the Mirage III and the next walkaround on the Hawker Hurricane.

You can find a Hawker Hurricane flight manual following this link - this is an early Mk.I version with the two and not three bladed propeller: https://ww2aircraft.net/forum/attachments/hurricane-merlin-manual-pdf.51403/

Also, for the Mirage III, here is the link to a French and RAAF Manual.

Happy reading and let me know if you are interested in more manuals.

As you know Chris, I've been in love with the mighty Hurricane for 40yrs since my first Airfix kit., so, wow! Thanks! I'm going to read them page by page in case I'm suddenly called on to scramble. Also can't wait for the walk around & an in the cockpit. Despite winning the BoB, then doing every job you could imagine, it is so poorly remembered. Thanks, Brian

Really nice addition to your excellent video work. I've just had a quick read through the Hurricane document and can't wait to go over it page by page in more depth. Great idea. Like to see more. - Thanks Phil.

Thanks for sharing these Bis! I'd definitely like to see more!

Thanks Chris! This is an absolutely fascinating find (the Hawker Hurricane manual)! It reminds me of original manuals I used in the past to restore a '74 Firebird, but even better because it's for one of my favorite aircraft! Great gift for New Year's!

Hi Chris. Thanks! My favourite WWII airplane. :D This Hawker Hurricane manual combines really well with my book "The Hurricane Story" by Paul Gallico. Many thanks! :)

Awesome Chris! Cold War and more modern manuals are really fascinating IMO, just so many systems to learn.

Thanks! I've read WWII manuals before but this is the first time I've seen a Cold War era text. You know, something from when I was actually alive :) I'm definitely interested in reading more of these.
