Hey all,
Little sneakpeak of the upcoming Inside The Cockpit episode on the Dornier Do 31 VTOL transport aircraft!
Cheers,
Chris
7 seconds? I think at least 12+ secs might be a sneak peak but - show us the plane please!

Glad you were able to visit the museum, there are some really good exhibits there. I also have a video on the Starfighter and Mig-21 coming up

Cant wait to see it - i was in Schleissheim just a week ago (18.08) on a small Germany-Roadtrip and obviously took a detailed walk around and inside the DO VTOL - but lacked the Research knowledge you have to propperly aprechiate the Aircraft.
Also thank you for actually showing off this wonderfull Museum - the only downside is that it is a bit far away from Switzerland and trying to take all in, in one visit was a bit difficult. So much to see yet such a little brain to comprehend all the flyi bits and things :-)

See VJ101C back there? That's the one I was talking about. The ones with the engines on the wing tips. You can see them in your lead image there.

Hey Wayne, I've made a video on the VAK 191 here https://youtu.be/mDKEfdd8dhQ
Range as 400km if I remember correctly.

I know this aircraft even here in the states because of a weird fascination with VTOL devolpment in the sixites. We had some cool stuff like the Pogo here. So this is insanely cool. I can't wait to see how many controls are in there. It has to be a nest of stuff.
Okay I just spotted the VTOL fighter behind you as well. I guess you can't get into that cockpit but are you doing a video on that one? I wanted to know its range. Which I always figured was about thirty feet with all the engines it had.
