Quick Update on filming Inside The Cockpit

Hey all,
A few hectic days after my short break which means that this update comes out a bit late. Soon, I'll be flying back over to Germany to film a bunch of Inside The Cockpit episodes (and more) for all of you. I'll also be visiting the Military Archives once more.
As for the filming schedule, I have planned:

Here is hoping that it all goes well! More updates to follow soon from the road.

And now TVAL have popped out a D.VII reproduction with new-build engine (so more accurate than the movie replica)

Nice picture(s)!

Military Aviation History

Mystery Science Theater 3,000 created a wonderful episode around a movie, "Starfighters," that was about a squadron converting to the F-104. The DVD is part of a set of four, available from Deep Discount and other outlets. I don't know if RiffTrax has made this episode available as a Video on Demand (VOD), yet. Worth watching to the end, for the movie itself to refer to the trans-Atlantic flight safety flotation overall as "the poopy suit." MST3K made up a wonderful, awful song, full of poopy references.

This is one of the few planes from that era that my Dad never flew, as far as I know.

Schleissheim is a great museum, great to see more of it! Glad you are looking at more of their collection! (Please say hello to the curators for me)

Great list! I've seen The Vintage Aviator's D.VII replica many times. Looking forward to a close-up view of an original.
