Hey, thanks for the support. Yes, generally Q&As are a thing but the initial format did not work well. I am hoping to relaunch this in a more formal manner but for now, my PM is open for questions etc.

Military Aviation History

is this still a thing?

Reichsbierminister

Q&A: Have you read Eric "Winkle" Brown's "Wings of the Luftwaffe" and if so do you consider it a good source on German WWII aircraft? And the same question regarding "The Warplanes of the Third Reich" by William Green Have a nice one /Jens

Jens Backman

Enjoy the Q&A by the way!

It is very puzzling that WW1 aviation is not more popular. Compared to the grim reality of trench warfare, WW1 aviation is almost Byronic in nature.

Thanks, hope you enjoy it!

On another note, Drach's Drydock where he answers questions seems to be popular. Since you are going to be adding the Youtube memebers, maybe changing the name of the Q&A videos to something like "Flightline", "From the Hangar" , etc.

Q&A: You had done a video on the Wilde Sau, which was great. It would be nice to get some information on the more standard German night fighters - JU88, ME-110, HE-219, etc. Which do you think was the best of the nightfighters? How good was the Lichenstein (sp?) radar in comparison to the allied airborne radar? It seems to have more antenna, which can cause drag and affecting perfomance.

Just wanted to let you know my copy of the Panzer Regulations arrived in Canada yesterday. It looks great. You and Bernhard did a great job. Thank you very much

How good (or bad...) were the Fiat G 55, Macchi MC205 and Reggiane 2005 compared to contemporary fighters?

Q&A: The Luftstreitkräfte fighter squadrons and the Zeppelin units of WWI are famous. But how about the Schlachtstaffeln? How useful were they? How were they used? The Dicta Boelcke are still quoted today, were these squadrons similarly the originators of CAS? Also, it's weird to find out that people are not interested in WWI aviation, I guess it's just that some people are obsessed with WWII...
