Hey, thanks for the support. Yes, generally Q&As are a thing but the initial format did not work well. I am hoping to relaunch this in a more formal manner but for now, my PM is open for questions etc.

It would be nice to get some information on the more standard German night fighters - JU88, ME-110, HE-219, etc. Which do you think was the best of the nightfighters? How good was the Lichenstein (sp?) radar in comparison to the allied airborne radar? It seems to have more antenna, which can cause drag and affecting perfomance.

2020-01-21 08:59:46 +0000 UTCQ&A: The Luftstreitkräfte fighter squadrons and the Zeppelin units of WWI are famous. But how about the Schlachtstaffeln? How useful were they? How were they used? The Dicta Boelcke are still quoted today, were these squadrons similarly the originators of CAS? Also, it's weird to find out that people are not interested in WWI aviation, I guess it's just that some people are obsessed with WWII...
