Hey all,
Here is your early access to this week's release (09/01/2020), a quick video on differentiating the German and Spanish Heinkel He-111. There are many differences, some small, some major and others in the interior. Although they look similar, you can already tell them apart from the outside however.
As always, please leave your comments and let me know if you like this format.

Happy New Year to you too! Spain did indeed keep themselves locked on the Jumo engine, esp since France supplied them with a few spare ones. But long term, this was not possible and they new it. I still have to find some sources showing what the Spanish thought of the Merlin but it did keep their Heinkel fleet in the air for a bit longer!

I always wanted to see this more clearly, so thank you. I guess I had incorrectly assumed the allies were adding a bit of insult to injury by shunning the original engine for the Merlin. Still I wonder if there is some truth to that or if manufacturing would have been impossible even if desirable. Anyway, Happy New Year, Bis!
