Hey all,

Hear is your early access to tomorrow's episode. I am taking a look at three famous AA guns from WW2, all in service with the US Navy, before talking about the proximity detonated VT shell.

If you enjoyed it, leave a comment on the video.

BahDahm-BahDahm-BahDahm-BahDahm.... as a kid, following the Pacific war, it was thrilling to hear that sound from a pair of Bofors. Is it correct that Bofors pairs traded energy back and forth, giving the energy of the blast of one to ‘jump start’ the other.? I may have assumed that.

Enjoyed your video. In the US almost every port of any size has a ship museum of some kind where all of these AA weapons can be seen. My favorite is Charleston, SC where the WW2 carrier Yorktown is on display. Organized groups are even allowed to sleep on board overnight. There is also the destroyer USS Laffey there which survived 6 kamikaze hits as well as 4 bombs in one day.
