2019-09-10 12:28:28 +0000 UTCDespite not really existing outside some well staged publicity photos of He 100s [link to your video ;-)], in 1940 the He 113 was treated by the allies as a real front line combat aircraft as shown by official recognition silhouettes, intelligence reports, analyses of Luftwaffe capabilities, and RAF combat reports from the Battle of Britain. Are there any other "phantom" aircraft like this that were considered real enough to be classed as operational by opposition forces?
