1. Can you make a video about the swordfish? This plane took me by surprise since in WW2 it as outclassed and outdated and still managed to sink a lot of ob ships ( Bismarck, Taranto raid, ..). 2. Can you tell us something about you? Why the passion for planes? Maybe a day with the Bis? ;)

Hi, Bismark I hope I did not miss the opportunity to ask.

Did the Bf -109H really exist? I have seen legions of photographs of various WW2 German aircraft from the wooden mockup stage right through to field use. Yet, I have never seen an obvious or verified photo of the Bf-109H series. Additionally, there seems to be only one serial numbered 109 prototype associated with the Bf-109H series. Given that a handful of these aircraft were supposedly built and field test by a reconnaissance unit near Paris, the lack of photographs, know or theorized serial numbers, field reports, or any serious original research on this aircraft seems very odd.

Speaking of P-40s... this is not a question, but a joke... maybe from the Bob Hope USO tour in 1944.: “I asked a pilot how many successful parachute jumps he’s made. He said ‘All of them’.”

Fw190 and bf109 seem to have much smaller tail sections comparatively to almost all allied fighters, why is that so?

Do you think that the Luftwaffe rotating pilots and lettlng them rest between service periods would have made a (big) difference? Less combat fatigue etc ... or did they have too few pilots to even have an option to rotate pilots?
