Thanks for this very careful and considerate work. You bothered to research context, both in peacetime development and war conditions. You have fully corrected my scant impression of the Devastator, no longer just a sad footnote at Midway.

2019-06-11 10:44:42 +0000 UTCI enjoyed it a lot. The TBD-1 Devastator has always been one of those aircraft that I've known more as a name than as an actual plane. It was interesting to get a little more information on the specifications and the history.
