CPU Cooling is dead, long live CPU Cooling

Hello!

So after yesterday I hoped to bring some good news today. And I do have some good news but before that let me introduce you to a little situation I had this morning.

Today my CPU cooling decided to go into early retirement. It just won't work anymore and the CPU temp shoots up to beyond 70C in less than half a minute - and that in the BIOS. Of course, this is not what I call an ideal start into the day. Yesterday it was fine - today it is dead. Ironically, a few days ago I had this gut feeling that something would happen. Strange how these things turn out sometimes.

Luckily, I do have a spare cooling (which I had planned to sell but thankfully didn't). It won't be as efficient as the water cooling I enjoyed thus far but it does the job. I ordered some paste and I.P. Alcohol which should arrive tomorrow. Once installed, I hope to be back in business. Here is me keeping my fingers crossed that that was the only issue. If not, then it might in fact be a sign of a more serious problem with the machine.

So, for the good news: Filming continues. No way to edit it at the moment as you can imagine but we got through a good bulk today. Taking this time, as I can't edit it anyway due to my PCs temporary, to experiment a bit more with lighting, DoF, and commentary. It's taking my minds off things, as I was seriously annoyed this morning as you might imagine. We are getting there but as with all good things, it's a road paved in challenges.
