Behind-the-Cockpit 1: Setting up a video
Added 2018-10-09 21:50:18 +0000 UTC
Hey all,
As promised in the last post, all of you will get a more in-depth behind the scenes look at how things progress with every video starting NOW. Up top is a short introduction, summarizing what's going to happen and showing you guys how I structure the upcoming video.
Please tell me what you think about this new series!

P.S. In absense of a better title, I christen this series 'Behind-the-cockpit....'
I didn't notice any lesser quality with the camera mic, but then I'm not an audio guy. I have a friend who is, and I can ask him to listen.
Have experienced the "Now that I have notes, I hardly use them" phenomenon. It works if I make myself a shopping list or a checklist.
I love behind-the-scenes technical looks. And yes, with all the primary research you do, you definitely need to publish. Good work! :)

Hey bis, since u are going to have more free time,I think u should probably make a podcast since it allows u to talk freely about aviation history, then after each podcast ,get some audio of the podcast and animate it back as a video

It isn't easy and a lot of comfort can be drawn from a script esp. when you go to rattle down numbers and dates. Scripts also help me from rambling, but so should bulletpoints. We will see how things develop, free flow is the way forward but I still need to 'get in the zone' for a good delivery.

Good video. You're totally right about free-flow being better than a script. I wish more native English speakers I have been forced to listen to as part of my job realized this instead of reading off a paper or a PowerPoint. That sort of stuff is just mind-numbing.
