Change to 'Charge Up Front'

This is to let you know that within the next 24h I will be changing the payment method to 'charge up front'.
- What does this change for existing Patreons?
Essentially nothing. As you are already Patreons, the usual charge dates remain (i.e. the 1st/2nd of each month).
The only thing to take into account is when you increase your pledge. This will be charged immediately. This also means that any benefits from accessing to a new perk level are available immediately, instead of starting the next month. After this, charges are made on the usual dates (see above).
- What does this change for new Patreons?
New Patreons are charged upon pledging, instead of at the end of the month. This also means they qualify for any perk rewards immediately.
In the past, I have noticed a few cases (maybe five) of new 'Patreons' signing up, accessing all the posts made here and then deleting their pledge within a few hours or days before being charged at the end of the month. This was a very unfortunate and unfair (both to exisitng Patreons and me) loophole that should be fixed now.
