100 planes over London

Hey all,
To celebrated one-hundred years of Royal Air Force, the RAF flew 100 planes over London today, one-hundred days after the Centenary of its creation (April 1).
I got lucky with a filming spot, having the planes fly just over me. Enjoy!

Probably can't do it for this one, but I'll keep in mind for the future :)

It was still fun to see it all. :)

I saw the Red Arrows perform at Dulles Airport, near Washington DC, back in ... 1975, at something called Transpo (Transportation Exhibition). I recognized a C-47, a couple of C-130s, a couple of 4-engine World War 2 British heavy bombers (but I can't tell them apart). Most of the aircraft were a mystery to me. I'd love it if, some time when you have time, you could add text, in out-of-the-way places on camera, as to which aircraft type is which.

The second group of helicopters (Lynx maybe) rotors synchronized with the shutter nicely. The 100 formation was really impressive, and the tribute to the U.S.A. at the end was touching. lol J/K Congrats to the RAF on 100 years, and thanks Bismarck for a great video of the fly over.
