Update: Patreon Tiers, Next Video & Merchandise

Hello all,

Right, longer post this time packed into three clusters: 1) Changes to Reward tiers, 2) Next Video and 3) Merchandise.

• Changes to Patreon reward tiers:

Overall, it’s an upgrade across the board:

Flieger/ Cadet

Patreons giving $2 will now also receive access to sneakpeaks. This is done for two reasons. On the one side I feel like the current reward for $2 was not good enough, on the other I am hoping for a bit more interaction here on Patreon. This should hopefully provide that.

Kazmarek/ Wingmen

Patreons giving $5 will now also receive Early Access to new historical videos. Overall, I feel like this is fair since $5/month is incredible support already and I felt like the sneakpeaks were just not enough. 

Experte/ Ace

Patreons giving $10 or more have no immediate change i.e. they still receive all other rewards plus the additional exclusive Discord access. However, I have lined up some potential benefits for the future (i.e. submit specific questions for Vlog-type videos, Merchandise, Twitch subscriptions etc.) of which I am not yet sure how feasible they are. This means that while I can’t give anything now of which I can guarantee that it will stay, you will be getting something special down the line. 

• Next Video

The next video is nearly done, a sneakpeak of which you see on the headline image. In fact, I am rendering the video as I post this. It is somewhat different to what I had before in that we don’t go into WW2 or even WW1 but to 2030. Yes, it’s about the future! The channel will stay focused on the ‘past’ but I will admit that I felt like I had to start this new year of with something new and refreshing just to mix it up a bit. 

• Merchandise

We are really close on getting our first official merchandise ready for the channel. I just have to order a few test prints and if everything checks out, it can be launched. I will keep you guys up to date and will link the store as soon as everything is ready.
