As for Earth catching up to Pallimustus, I think the focus for now is the worry of colonization. If Earth is taken over, it doesn’t matter. Imagine going back to turn the Aztecs into a utopia only to watch them be massacred. There isn’t time to do this in steps. The Earthlings need to learn ethics and military at the same time. But you are totally right. This will probably go wrong.

If it was not for the author changing everyone's opinion to make Jason look like a badass, I would've saw that as the worst Re-Intro of a MC and display as 'The most powerful gold ranker'. Bro got stomped! Point blank Period! ---------- Hmmm I like that he wants Earth to catch up to Pallimustis, buuttttt just because he could, the real question is, SHOULD YOU?! You want to give them MORE power without doing anything about the current ETHICS, MORALS, and political betrayals, that constantly put them against you, and you find yourself distaining. How does that make sense? How? -------- As for the ship... can't he just feed it to his cloud flask and let it work out all the functions? When that ship becomes part of the cloud, doesn't that give Jason an intrinsic understanding of the ship and its functions?

My guess as to why it was sealed away would be it prevents death somehow. the gestalt beings killed with it dont end up with the reaper but get trapped someplace kinda like Dragnipur from the Malazan Series. That would be cool. My understanding of the sword is that it eat energy, doing so seperates the gestalt spiritual and physical bodies.

Earth doesn't have enough magic for diamond rank. Transcendent is above that. And it's obviously required for gods, according to what we've seen. The concept of undeath showing up is only an issue because of Jason's deal with Death and the idea that it might spread.
