On Death's Hallow Eve, an ancient evil stalks the village of Holbrin. As marked villagers vanish in the night, leaving only crimson streaks across harvest fields, you must uncover dark secrets and perform a desperate ritual before the Pumpkin Knight claims more victims. (This adventure is optimized for three to five characters of 3rd level.)
Those chosen for death wake to find a black sigil burned into their palm—the Knight's promise of a bloody harvest. The elders speak of an old sacrifice beneath a blood moon, when a man's head was carved like a pumpkin to appease darker powers. Now that power has returned, seeking vengeance.
Only an ancient ritual might stop the Pumpkin Knight, but gathering its components will test your courage:
Tame phantom steeds from ghostly riders in haunted stables
Steal a cursed pumpkin from a witch's twisted farm
Descend into crypts to claim enchanted armor
Face the headless horror himself beneath the Halloween moon
When you discover the terrible price of your village's prosperity, will you choose fortune built on blood, or mercy bought with sacrifice?
