Buenos Noches, Fuccbois! It's a brand new year and a brand new decade!

We made it to the Roarin' Twenties, y'all! That means there's gonna be lions everywhere, right? That's why it's called that. Cuz in the 1920s all those lions came down in their spaceships and ruled over us with an iron paw for about a decade. Just running through the streets, demanding their cut of all our tasty wildebeest meat. It wasn't until 1929 that their lion-y hubris got the better of them and their king, Simba, crashed his spaceship into the stock market, thus causing the Great Depression. Of course, they weren't just gonna sit around and take the wrap for that shit, so they hopped right back into their ships and headed off to parts unknown, leaving behind the slowest and dumbest of their kind as scapegoats to be put on display and mocked in our human zoos. Poor bastards can't even English. So anyway, that's why we don't got no more lions on Earth no more. Except Africa. And the aforementioned zoos. But look at me, going on about stuff you already know. Happy New Year and whatnot!

The holidays were fun, but it's great being able to get back to work. We've already been able to finish the first draft of our SAOA 15 script, so we should be able to iron our the wrinkles and get that finalized real soon! Then... the recording begins...

On the other hand, the holidays made last month rather tricky to get our actors in for recording MHAA 2. Some bullshit about "seeing their families" or some pointless crap like that. In any case, we should be able to get those lines recorded much more easily now, and while we're doing that, we can start writing MHAA 3! We're SUPER excited about that since it's where most of the class FINALLY shows up! There'a gonna be so many people to cast, so you know what that means!

You... you do know what that means right? We're not being obtuse or anything...

You have no idea what we mean, do you? Fuck, do we have to spell out every little thing for you people?

*sigh*

Auditions... We're gonna hold more auditions...

We'll have more details when we get the script finished and we're ready to begin. And hey, if you feel like meeting our pleasant selves, get yoselves a ticket to SAKURA-CON, cuz we just sent in our panel submission! Hoping to show you guys a bunch of new stuff... that'll hopefully be ready in time. Please GOD let it be ready by April!

On a sadder note, Carrie won't be joining us there. Due to the vagueries of the immigration process, Carrie won't be allowed to leave Canada until things are finalized, which will probably be the end of the year. But that does mean she's still free to go to any Canadian cons! Lookin' at you Anime North! How you doin', gurl?

Also, a big thank you to everyone who donated to help Carrie with her surprise lawyer fees. We couldn't have even started the process if it wasn't for you kind and generous peeps. We'd like to keep her here. She's pretty okay. Her words, not ours.

Anywho, that's pretty much everything. Remember to keep an eye on your house cats, because as we all know, they're tiny lion spies, bred to harvest our secrets and report back to their astral overlords. That's why you'll notice that nobody had any cats before 1920. Well, they're not getting any of MY secrets, that's for damn sure. They'll find out where our wildebeests are! Those are OUR wildebeests! They can get their own!
