This is how I got the sling into a similar position to the Magpul stock. Not ideal, but it works.

Iβm a shotgun guy. Or rather, I started from shotguns shooting sporting clays. I have shot tens of thousands of rounds. My main sporting gun cost more than a couple of infinities. Such is the way. I have fired shotguns that cost more than $100,000. π€¦π»ββοΈ But there is a simple rule that is especially true in shotguns. It ainβt the gun. Itβs the gunner. I have seen Skeeter with his pump shotgun and fixed choke kick the hell out of a guy shooting a Holland and Holland because heβs a better shot. Shooting at a clay 60 yards away that is cutting through trees and dropping is all about 3 dimensional solution solving and not about the engraving or walnut.
Sporting shotguns are designed for heavy use. Thatβs why the over and under is so popular and if its well made (not Turkish) it can easily go more than 100,000 rounds. Semi autos are well known as well but are considered almost disposable over a certain round count. Tactical shotguns are never going to be used in the same manner.
I have a tricked out Beretta 1301, but truthfully, for home defense, Iβd probably grab my suppressed pistol caliber carbine or my suppressed 300 blackout. Shotguns without ear pro are incredibly, deafeningly loud.
A quick note about what shells to use. I have frequently patterned at different distances. The pattern doesnβt really spread that much, depending on choke, at under 10 yards, which is more than adequate for home defense. Bird shot can be absolutely devastating at that range and it doesnβt go through every wall of your house like a shotgun slug would. Within 30 feet it would put a fist size hole through someone. I am one of those people who believe that 7 1/2 bird shot is more than adequate for inside your house. As an emergency medicine trauma specialist, I can tell you a zone one hit (chest, abdomen, head) with birdshot is uniformly lethal.
As always, a great review. I am happy to support your channel.
