what I'm doing with the money (important update)

For reasons related to my personal life and my own mental health, I am no longer able to provide support to my friend. It's a decision that's really weighed on my mind over the past month.
To be perfectly clear, it has nothing to do with them. It was my own agency to help them out to begin with, and in the same vein, it's my own introspection which lead me to the conclusion that I cannot help alleviate anyone's burdens when I can barely carry my own.
If this impacts how you want to support me, I have no judgement to give. Just know that from this point onwards, the money is no longer going to them.

I have a friend who is autistic and been suffering from burnout and executive dysfunction. they live in a state where they don't have much in terms of welfare/social programs. their financially unstable living conditions cause them so much stress that they struggle to simply function day to day, and it is simply unrealistic to expect them to find and maintain a job, at least at the moment.
by my own initiative, I've decided that I want to give this friend regular financial support to make sure that they can eat. The idea is to provide them with stability in order to reduce their burden of stress over time. I'm a firm believer that this sort of security can go a long way.
This is what the money I get from commissions and your pledges go towards.
My goal is to send them $30 USD a week.
so yeah. I just wanted to explain this for the sake of transparency.
