Teaser An Impractical Guide to Gaming
Added 2025-08-28 12:51:57 +0000 UTCNo, Perseus, a teaser can't be about gaming just because the butchery is called a Titan's Game...
Oh, Gods, forget it.
Anyway.
Here are 25,000 words of An Impractical Guide to Godhood as a teaser.
In all likelihood, this is the last one, you will get the full chapter for the next update.
After that, we will finally be able to return to TWO...
Enjoy!

My main and sole concern is I totally understand Perseus is the underdog of this story(and reading The Odds, I know how quickly you can make an underdog a player in the game), but at this point, over 300-500K words in, we still haven’t really seen any major power scaling for Perseus and his crew. You’ve powerscaled the villains up to claimant-primordial status with some use of that power(A clever foreshadowing with him residing in Pans old domain and fantastic story evolution by the way, I adore it), but our Suicide Squad is still just a few boosted demigods with curse of achilles(or similar[i.e: drew or perseus]) type effects. I think the underdog stakes you’re best at are shining through here, but I fear all the amazing concepts laid down in this story may have developed so far a victory seems unsolvable without a deus ex machina even further than scraps of power summing up to 5% of a domain eventually(20-25% seems more understandable for all the various levels of influence and power going around. I can’t imagine 1/20th of a domain influencing Apollo majorly or helping the suicide squad out in this situation a lot, 1/5 or 1/4 though, totally). I guess that’s the joy of reading though, can’t wait to see how you get the Suicide Squad out of this one!
