I'm afraid people are going to start thinking that AMD pays us to say this, but the Ryzen 7 5800X3D is so good there just isn't any need for anything more in a gaming/streaming rig right now. An AM4 board, 32GB of DDR4-3600, and that 5800X3D is a fantastic build for the next several years. It doesn't hold back a 4090, so whatever GPU you choose is fine :)

2023-08-21 23:16:15 +0000 UTCIf I was going to make a PC from scratch, for gaming, and maybe streaming, but nothing insanely intensive, would you suggest getting one of the newest latest CPUs? or go for one of those Ryzen 5 5800x3d chips? Building something for a buddy from scratch
