This is not 11-3 - 21 July 2024

Or maybe it is, for it was in your hearts all along.

The writing phase of the chapter is (at last) over, and this file has been sent to the betas, with a dealine for mid-September.

As always, the authors reserves himself the right to call for the Commissars and/or the Inquisition in case of trouble...

I've decided to not go for a cliffhanger this time. You can all breathe in relief (obviously, it's only true for this chapter, who knows what the future is made of...)

We're approaching the end of the Legacy Arc for sure, and I'm able to maintain the 40K threshold...let's pray the Golden Throne this will continue. No, I am not praying to blue vultures, they tend to grossly escalate the word count.

Anyway.

I'm going to write The odds were never in my favour next, hopefully I will have it finished before the Olympic Games begin and I get too distracted by them. That's a fixed part of the schedule.

Once this update will be done...temptation is high to write the next chapter of An Impractical Guide to Godhood, I will admit. Our timeline has gone sufficiently crazy that someone like Perseus-Kairos is truly needed to cheer everyone up, and reach new levels of insanity...but Alexandra's adventures comes first.

Enjoy!

Don't forget that the Imperium doesn't know exactly how many planets are in the Maelstrom, or how many of them would be available for settlement in the first place. The numbers given in this chapter are very rough guesses, and quite pessimistic in some aspects.

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!

Sometimes the memes shouldn't be true - the Blood Ravens are showing the downsides of if their memetic reputation was actually true. Also, Michelin Star Cawl, hilarious.

Thanks for the chapter! It is said in the chapter that the Imperium can form around 10 to 20 sectors. From the wiki, it is said that the Maelstrom has the dimater of several hundreds light years. Suppose the Maelstrom is a sphere and a sector is 100 light years across in all direction then the Maelstrom would have the diameter of 300 to 450 light years. This is way smaller than what have been shown in the map of the Galaxy, which shown the Maelstrom diameter to be around 1000 light years.
