This isn't a teaser at all - 2 July 2023

Dear readers, this can't be a teaser! For teasers aren't 25,000 words long.

More seriously, I hope you will enjoy this large update.

I can, at the hour these words are written, tell you the end of the writing for 12-3 is quite close.

I should have it finished by Wednesday-Thursday at the latest. Based on the pace of writing and the last point of views that I have left to complete...this should be a 40,000 words-long chapter.

Which is incredibly appropriate, for the end is indeed very typical of a certain grimdark setting totally not in the 40th millennium.

Anyway.

Fair warning: there is a big cliffhanger at the end of this not-teaser. I will have warned you (this time).

More likely when I will have ended this series of updates, I will take a few days of rest, and then shift to The odds were never in my favour, though I will likely have a July schedule released here by then.

Happy July and good reading!

It's rather more that they have a strong incentive that this time, if they lose, the aforementioned danger may lose more than a few feathers in the game...Tzeentch shoud try to fight more than a few existential struggles...and don't worry, they will return to their backstabbing ways soon enough (which is going to cost them a lot, it must be said).

All marvel at the power of the Changer of Ways! His followers are always scheming for their own advantage and betraying their superiors, including the Changer Himself. Except, when it actually matters at which point he Changes their Ways and they become a completely trustworthy force absolutely loyal to him. All marvel at the power of the Changer of Ways! Seriously, that is the only explanation for Malicia and her follower's behavior in this arc.

Oh absolutely. The Orks don't care about the King in Yellow's plan, the Fifth Throne, the manipulations, and everything associated with it. They are just honest warmongers eager to have a big battle and kill their newly discovered enemies. Orks really aren't complicated...which naturally doesn't mean they aren't a pain to fight.

I think it's more that the orks aren't willing to miss another big dust-up like Comorragh, so they're keeping a proper watch on things. X-Brukk seems a bit too junior to interfere here, superweapons or not, there aren't many victories and evolutions on his wanted sheet.
