Major Storms after the Cataclysm
Added 2023-02-04 08:37:31 +0000 UTCOkay, they have been mentioned several times in several chapters, so here are the major Warp Storms in existence which have formed now that certain unpleasant characters have been annihilated.
The two 'old storms' of the Eye of Terror and the Maelstrom have been coloured for clarity's sake, and then I added the eight other. Some of them came into existence right after Commorragh needed some remodelling, others came years after it.
And no, it is not a coincidence they are all beyond the Astronomican's illumination zone. The monsters of the Dark are in no hurry to get burned again by the Light.

Pretty much. Of course, with the rise of Anarchy, Chaos really doesn't have a choice. They can't afford to keep important assets close to each other for too long, or the losses are going to be catastrophic before they meet a single Imperial guardsman...

2023-02-08 18:12:19 +0000 UTCBefore WO chaos was slowly chipping away at IoM and remember once a section of space is no longer illuminated by the Emperor it was basically doomed and scattered forces was a must due to the four constantly attacking the other faction's forces.

2023-02-04 17:14:06 +0000 UTCInstead of trying to continue inside the Imperium, they're shifting to periphery strongholds. Makes 'sense' from their perspective, but in the long run it'll make things easier for the Imperium to defend against.
