guess who we'll be seeing in this chapter!! but probably not in the way you think, lmao

in any case, this is Marinette's snake miraculous transformation, Ophidia - aka, the clade name for all modern day reptiles. I wanted her to look cute but sort of spooky, so I gave her a "snakeskin" cloak to give her a wraith-ish vibe while also changing her silhouette to be a bit sporadic. I originally wanted to give her like, six braids to give her a medusa look, but then realized i have to DRAW this design like a hundred times and decided to pop the brakes and give myself something simpler to work with... you can still see vestiges in it in Marinette's braid-clip, which looks like a triangular snake head.
